The study uses a quantitative approach employing a descriptive survey methodology to recognize the difficulties students face in their Statistics and Probability class and their preconceptions of incorporating educational games into the class. A self-created questionnaire was distributed to 30 senior high school students, and the data collected was analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and rank. The findings indicate that incorporating educational games into the curriculum could be a useful strategy for teachers looking to increase student engagement and academic success. The study recommends creating personalized lesson plans that include educational games like Kahoot!, Statistical Jeopardy, and Drawing Charades to make learning more enjoyable, intriguing, and engaging for students. Overall, this research has significant implications for increasing student engagement in statistics and probability courses and influencing the design of effective educational games.
