520 _aThe study analyzed the students' perceptions of Minecraft as an educational tool at Ateneo de Iloilo - Santa Maria Catholic School (ADI-SMCS). Using the descriptive qualitative approach, 10 Senior High School students who were purposively selected were interviewed using a semi- structured questionnaire. The results indicated that the students perceived Minecraft as both beneficial and a hindrance to their learning experience. With the game's unlimited freedom, several students recognized how it can foster engagement, creativity, and real-life problem-solving, while excessive use can be a distraction and a cause of addiction. These findings suggest that although digital games and educational tools enhance learning, boundaries, responsible use, and structured integration are essential in keeping the Minecraft learning experience productive and effective.
