Family involvement and influences have affected students' career decisions by advising and telling them what to take up in college and what kinds of professions to pursue. Many of the students were confused about what they should pursue in college due to these familial influences. There are situations where parents' expectations do not align with their children's chosen careers, leading to challenging choices regarding a student's future. This research study aims to investigate the impacts of family influences on students' career decisions, particularly Grade 12 students who are about to enter college. A questionnaire is used to determine how much students agree with a particular statement about their family's influence and is measurable by the Likert scale. Short-response questions were also used to gain in-depth insights into their experiences. Furthermore, this study offers insight into the extent to which students' experiences with family involvement into influence shaped their career decisions.
