The aim of this study was to assess and ascertain the efficacy of various concentrations of Onions (Allium cepa) and Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis miller) in reducing the mosquito (Culex) death rate. A Randomized Pretest Posttest Design with five treatments was used to carry out the investagation. The different concentrations were applied and sprayed to the mosquitoes in concentration of 25% Aloe Vera 75% Onion, 50% Aloe Vera 50% Onion, 75% Aloe Vera 25% Onion, and the mortality rate was recorded for 30 minutes, recording every change from post-spray and every five minutes of the 30 minutes. Results showed that all the concentrations exhibited an effectiveness against the adult mosquitoes (Culex). The highest mortality rate of 88% was observed from the 50% Aloe Vera 50% Onion Concentration. The 24%, 88% and 44% mortality rate values of the extract calculated respectively. According to study's findings, concentration of Onion and Aloe Vera may be used as a substitute insecticide to eliminate adult mosquitoes. The results of this study may contribute to the growing trend of using natural products in pest management by encouraging the use of an Onion concentration mixture and Aloe Vera as a potential source of natural insecticide and possibly leading to the development of an eco-friendly and natural mosquito larvicide for use in mosquito control programs. To assess this extract's safety and effectiveness in field uses, more research is required.
