As such one thing that the researchers have noted was that one of the aspects of the lack of academic achievement stems from the lack of engagement with the peers teaching the subject. Furthermore, the researchers, noting the rise in popularity of Virtual Avatars throughout the years have decided to merge the two into one. Through this, the objective of this study is to find out the effectiveness and perceptions of certain individuals towards being taught by a Virtual Avatar. In order to do so, the researcher made use of pretest and posttest with an intervention in between to determine whether the students improved or not in terms of their scores. Afterwards, the data to be gathered from the pretest and posttest will them be supported by a 5 questions interview to be done by the researchers themselves. Through, results presented that the students barely improved in the posttest. Thus, concluding that the recording of the Virtual Avatar teaching had no significant impact on their performance. Though the students mentioned in their responses during the interview that the Virtual Avatar helped them in focusing on the discussion and that it was helpful as a teacher.
