Students are part of the community that has the highest vulnerability to natural disasters and need handling steps to reduce disaster risk. With this, there is a lack thorough conduct and proper practice of DRRM disaster evacuation drills of certain educational institutions. The study aims to assess the implementation of the Disasters Risk Reduction and Management Plan of the selected private schools in Iloilo City, thus providing crucial information about the best practices to further strengthen the evacuation drills of the school and other institutions in the city. The study utilized Action Research Design and analyzed the data collected using thematic analysis. This study showed the best practices of the three schools which are written evacuation drill plan, different bell indicators, sturdy school structure, orientation and assigning roles for students and staff, equipped with proper equipment, conducting announced and unannounced drills, having evacuation areas, checking of attendance, indicating the building is safe, evacuating through the nearest exit, doing evaluation and implementation of resolutions after each drill. The output of the study is a booklet that serves as the a learning material by the other schools and institutions in Iloilo City to demonstrate how to properly conduct and practice a evacuation stimulation in accordance with the DRRM Evacuation Plan. A proposed recommendation is to use the booklet as a reference on how to effectively disseminate information regarding the evacuation drill and the importance of a having successful evaluation simulation in accordance with DRRM.
