This study aimed to understand the pricing strategies of Atria Park District Restaurants and fill the knowledge gap in understanding what external factors influence these strategies. The study employed a qualitative instrumental case study that used a purposive sampling technique that determined established restaurants of more than two years and has identified four restaurants that served as respondents of the study. The responses were categorized into four key themes: Pricing Strategies Used by Restaurants, Considerations for Pricing Menu Products, Customer-Centric Approaches, and Adaptability and flexibility, with sub-themes that were generated for each through an inductive thematic analysis procedure. Based on these results, the pricing strategies used by these restaurants have different considerations to take when utilizing them in regards to their target market, the changes in the economy, the unique categories (or themes) that were interpreted from each of their responses, and other circumstances that influenced their decision-making processes in identifying their pricing strategies. In conclusion, the restaurants made use of several strategies and factors that formulated a blended pricing strategy that can be of benefit to Atria Park District Restaurants and aspiring business owners in the food service industry. |
