Summary, etc. Guimaras was widely regarded as a peaceful and welcoming tourist destination. However, tourist scams had negatively impacted tourists' trust and overall experience. This qualitative study employed an episodic narrative inquiry approach focused on experiences from participants regarding the tourist scams they experienced to examine prevalent tourist scams and proposed solutions through an informative brochure. Data was collected through questionnaires and interviews with seven participants that were made up of 4 female students, 1 female caregiver, 1 male helper, and 1 male electrical maintenance worker, who identified common scam patterns. Findings revealed that transportation scams were the most frequent, with four out of seven tourists reporting overpriced tricycle fares. Activity-related scams were also notable, as two tourists encountered deceptive tour and dive packages where promised services were not delivered or poorly delivered. False accusation scams were the least frequent, reported by only one informant. This study highlighted the need for stricter regulations and improved awareness initiatives. To address these issues, this research proposed enhanced tourist information dissemination, targeted policy recommendations, and the development of an informative brochure to ensure a safer and more transparent tourism experience in Guimaras.
