Summary, etc. Water pollution is a major concern in the Philippines which affects the livelihood, the health of the community and the quality of water. It is caused by the contamination of chemicals, industrial and agricultural wastes and the increase of population. Hence, the effectiveness of durian peels and seeds as a natural water coagulant on Batiano river water and Jaro river water in regards with its turbidity Level, pH Level, and appearance was determined to improve the water quality and lessen water pollution. The researchers assessed through an observation sheet in comparing before and after applying the coagulant after gathering the samples such as the tap water, from the Batiano river and Jaro river with the consent and the assistance from barangay officials in obtaining water samples and applying the treatment. A factorial research design was utilized. The results of this study show that there is a significant difference in the turbidity levels between the before and after samples of the Jaro River water, while there is no significant difference in the turbidity levels between the before and after samples of the Batiano River water. Additionally, there is a significant difference in the pH levels between the before and after samples of both the Jaro River and Batiano River water. Furthermore, results show that the frequency distribution table indicated a shift in color towards yellow following treatment.
