Summary, etc. In today's generation mental health care and awareness has become more and more prevalent. This study tackles the psychological distress of an individual, most specifically that of a senior high school student. There are sine studies that tackle the psychological distress that one individual feels however it does not provide any intervention to test whether or not the distress of an individual will decrease. The studies similar to ours used a questionnaire called the Kesler questionnaire. This questionnaire is used to determine the psychological distress of an individual but does not determine any real time mental disorders such as depression, anxiety or stress. This study will determine whether or not the retreat program can lessen the distress an individual is feeling. The k10 survey will be used and given to the participants before and after the program. The findings from the participant feedback were as follows: 23 participants reported a decrease in psychological distress following the intervention program, compared to 16 participants who reported an increase. Three participants reported no change in psychological distress. Since we have found out that the overall experience of the retreat did not decrease all of the participant's distress, we have formulated activities such as collaborative or group programs and nature inspired mindfulness programs that can help with decreasing the distress that the participants feel in the retreat. All in all the retreat is a successful and effective program that can help with decreasing the distress of an individual.
