Summary, etc. The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) job have a very high demand, so graduates from this strand would have more career opportunities. This strand however mostly focuses on science and math, both which are subjects considered difficult, thus resulting in STEM being a difficult strand in general. This study wishes to determine whether or not there is a significant relationship between the academic performance of grade 11 Ateneo de Iloilo - SMCS STEM students in science and their self-efficacy. Using Pearson's Correlation to answer to answer the main research question, it has been found out that there is no significant relationship between the stated variables, which implies that self-efficacy is not a contributing factor to having either a high or low academic performance. For future studies, the researchers recommend using a different population such as the entire Senior High School STEM students (both grade 11 and 12) or students from another school aside, and make use of random sampling in selecting the sample. The researchers suggest that future researchers should make use of researcher-made instrument/s (survey and/or tests) and should take into consideration the context or situation when and where the study will be conducted.
