It would be difficult to overstate the contribution to the true understanding and living of the liturgy made by this author. Here he pushes on into the life and meaning of the Sacraments as acts of Christ, as sacred signs of grace, of Faith, of the Church. He then deals with each Sacrament in turn. There is in fact no other book quite like this and it is written with a vitality which augers well for the traditional movement.
