In the context of this study, an extract from sampaguita and mint shows promise as a natural addition to traditional antibaterial agents. A study looked at how well sampaguita extract inhibited a variety of dangerous bacteria. On these bacteria, findings showed that sampaguita extract had a strong antibacterial effect. However, studies have demonstrated that the bioactive components found in mint, such as menthol and rosmarinic acid, have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties (Tafrihi et al., 2021). The requirement for adequate sanitation, the use of eco-friendly or organic materials, and increasing concerns about antibiotic resistance have created a demand for a new alternative component for antibacterial liquid hand soap. As a result, the researchers have employed these components rather than heavily depending on chemicals and synthetic smells. Taking into account that the study focuses on mint and sampaguita extracts. It is going to be achieved through experimental research, enabling the researchers to assess and explore its complete potential as a substitute antibacterial ingredient for liquid hand soap. This study will aim to determine the antibacterial effectivity of sampaguita extract and mint extract as alternative components for liquid hand soap. Sampaguita and mint plants were dried using an oven drying setup afterward Ethanol was used for the extraction process, then was filtered for the removal of the solvent from the sample then the rotary evaporator was utilized. Hence, after the removal the crude extract was added to a soap base and for the testing of the antibacterial activity, the disk diffusion method was applied, and the pH level was determined using a pH meter.
